Safety and limits
Tarping is temporary protection, not a permanent repair or a guarantee that all water entry will stop. Wind, lightning, ice, wet surfaces, unstable decking or unsafe ladder access can prevent work. Material, area, labor and equipment are confirmed in the quote. Availability is not guaranteed, and no 24-hour response is promised.
Scope, price and safe access come first.
Materials, roof condition, work area and access determine the agreed quote. Potential charges apply only if needed and approved: roof pitch 10/12 or steeper +$100; without usable lower-roof or porch access, an edge over 24 ft through 32 ft +$50, or over 32 ft +$100. One height charge applies. Additional equipment, time or a return visit is explained before extra work or charges. An access fee does not make an unsafe roof accessible.
Questions before booking
Does a tarp replace roof repairs?
No. It is temporary protection while a permanent repair scope is evaluated and agreed.
Should I climb onto the roof to take photographs?
Photographs from the ground or a safe indoor location can help. Do not climb onto an unsafe roof. Tell us about visible exposure, leaks and known access limits by text or email.
Can you document storm conditions separately?
Yes. Compare the Storm Damage Inspection if you need a detailed assessment. The emergency quote confirms any documentation included.
Independent inspection documents findings. Repairs are separately authorized work with their own agreed scope and price.

Continue with a maintenance agreement
After temporary protection and any separately agreed repairs, start ongoing roof care with $499 first-year maintenance and a dated condition baseline. Continue at $359/year from year two under the RoofWatch terms. Tarping is separately quoted; it does not enroll you in maintenance.
